Records Retention
Michael Trust Law, APC only keeps your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (for example, during appeals, for tax and accounting purposes, or other legal requirements).
The firm will keep your information for seven (7) years, unless Michael Trust is still engaged with you as a client, in which case, the firm may keep the information until seven (7) years after the last matter has concluded.
Once Michael Trust Law, APC has no legitimate business need to process or retain your personal information, your personal information will either be deleted or securely stored separately from any other processing until deletion is possible.
Information Security
Michael Trust Law, APC has implemented reasonably appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information Michael Trust Law, APC processes. Notwithstanding these measures, no electronic transmission of information over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and thus Michael Trust Law, APC makes no promises nor guarantees that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information.
