Sexual Harassment

Even in this day and age, sexual harassment still occurs and occurs fairly regularly.  

Unfortunately, sexual harassment is common in many workplaces.

It can look like 

• Asking for sexual favors
• Unwelcome sexual advances
• Physical or verbal harassment that is about sexual matters, and the like.

Horrible. And it’s generally illegal.

Sexual harassment is illegal under both federal and California law. The harassment must be severe, regular, and often consistent, although one instance of harassment could be enough to trigger a claim, depending on the severity of the instance.
